Last day in New York, went out east for a change to Flushing Meadows / Corona Park. Right by the train station, on one side you have Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, and on the other is the site of the US Open (tennis) and a park where a World's Fair was held some years ago.

More US Open Tennis.
There was nothing happening with either the baseball or the tennis that day (US Open finished probably three weeks or so before) so was more just for some exploring. The park also has a big unisphere which was featured in Men In Black, and various other movies and TV shows.

Unisphere - that means one sphere.

Some lake.
Had to rush to finish up some shopping in the afternoon all over Manhattan before going to see Demetri Martin perform a show at the Town Hall. His act was all new stuff to me so that was good, he went for a reasonable time and even had a long Q&A session at the end, so good value for money (much better than Ricky Gervais last year).
