Just got back running trouble free in time for the Puffing Billy train race. I forgot to write a quick report at the time, and it's a bit late now. I thought I'd do a little better than I did, but maybe a lack of training on hills was a problem on the day.
The next day I had a bit of a sore hamstring but tried to run through it for the next two weeks, but it just didn't improve so I've missed a lot of running each week since, including the Run The Gap race, but it might finally be starting to improve at the end of the month. I still managed an 18:30 parkrun during the time off, so haven't lost too much speed.
The other running update is I reached 10,000 kilometres on my Garmin 220 so upgraded to the Garmin 935 with built-in heart monitor and support for cycling and swimming.
No biking.
Sold some under performing shares for a loss, still have a few to get rid of which will make the rest easier to monitor too. Finally back making a tiny profit in my investment loan so added a bit to that as well.
Had some better matches in the second and third round of the NBA playoffs. I was happy that Golden State managed to get past Houston again and Toronto was alright too.
Not much progress on the to do list this month:
- Asia winter holiday
- Difficult to plan again as I only have a two month work project now...
- Gold Coast half marathon weekend booked
As above have started a small project for work, but just working myself for a couple of months which makes any holiday plans close to impossible again.
That's it for this month.
