Good
- Almonds didn't seem to have a particularly strong or dominating taste
- Finally a cake that didn't overflow
- Looked roughly like the photo in the book
- Pretty good taste despite being slightly crunchy and crumbly

- Long cooking time in two phases - 50 minutes and 15 minutes
- Was a bit overcooked despite following the instructions and even reducing the heat slightly
