Straight into a fast March review, nothing for miscellaneous.
A slightly better month of running, although it began with another disappointing 10 kilometre race in Bendigo. I thought I was doing alright until half way but then hit a strong headwind on the way back and lost heaps of time, but overtook one person at least. My result was around 36:30 but the course seemed a bit short, so probably closer to 37:00 really. Now I have a while to do some better training before another 10 kilometre in Ballarat at the end of April.
Spent the rest of the month running 17:50 at three different parkruns in a row, although given the different courses the last one seemed the fastest. Then finished off the month with a very long drive and tourist parkrun at Bairnsdale which was a slower course due to an uphill and downhill zig zags in each direction.
Nothing really happening in shares again, although the half year dividends started coming through which is a nice boost. I haven't invested much into shares for a while now, instead building up my bank account a little while the savings rate it still around five percent - hopefully enough for a house deposit one day.
In sports the premier league is on another international break ahead of Euro 2024 in June. Perhaps because of that some of the England club sides are touring Australia earlier than usual, so I managed to purchase a good level two seat for Newcastle vs. Tottenham at the end of May. The formula one came to town for the Albert Park race, but I still haven't watched a race in several years.
The to do list is accumulating a bit due to inaction.
